A Memorial Christmas Carol Service is being held in St Cuthbert’s Church in Darlington Market Place on Tuesday 8th December.  The Co-operative Funeralcare would like to extend a warm invitation to the Newton Aycliffe community to attend an Evening of Remembrance which begins at 7pm and will include Christmas readings, candle lighting and carols and will feature the Cockerton Prize Silver Band.
There will also be an opportunity to place a memorial message on the Christmas tree in church.  Refreshments will be served after the service.
The Co-operative Funeralcare will again have memorial Christmas trees in each of our funeral homes throughout December where tributes to loved ones may be placed, please call in at your local funeral home in Macmillan Road in Newton Aycliffe to leave your tribute.
Finally, we would like to thank everyone who bought a hand made poppy from us this year; in total Funeralcare in our area raised £338.59 for The Royal British Legion.
