Spectrum Roller Skating Club travelled to Bolton to take part in Red Rose Festival 19th/20th October 2019. The club took 20 skaters, ranging from 6 to adults, for a full weekend away and came back with 48 awards. The weekend was action packed and very eventful for one skater who had an accident (not skating) and broke her finger. Despite being in pain and a visit to A&E, 9 year old Lucy Owen still came away with a trophy for her super skating.
All the skaters did fantastic performances and the club was congratulated, not only for their skating, but their behaviour and fantastic attitudes. Anyone interested in roller skating can come along on Thursdays, 6.30-7.30pm or Saturdays, 2.30-3.30pm.
