This week The Red Box Project made a delivery to Humankind (next to Newton Press), a non-profit organisation helping young people and families since 1903, for their Post-16 Education Centre. The box was warmly received by the Centre’s Manager Abbie Shepherd (pictured) who is certain it will make a difference to their young women, many of whom are living independently. We were asked to give a talk to the centre about the work of the Red Box Project and we are delighted to arrange that in the new term.
As we approach the end of term every girl should know that they can take whatever they need for the long break from their school’s Red Box.
During the summer holidays a Red Box is available at Junction7 in Silverdale Place. Beki, Manager of the Youth and Community Centre, operates independently of the Red Box Project but will help any girl in need on request and we appreciate her help.
Enjoy the summer: Together, we’ve got your back!
