There seems to be some confusion lately, about what you can recycle,and which bin it goes into. There is a very clear guide here: http://www.durham.gov.uk/whatgoeswhere The most important piece of information in it is probably, “If you’re unsure whether you can recycle an item, leave it out of your recycling bin and put it in your rubbish bin. This stops your recycling bin being contaminated”.
