A personal thanks to you and your team for contributing so much towards making this year’s Christmas Tree collection such an unprecedented success.
Equipped with over 80 volunteers,17 vans, a state of the art tree-chipping operation, plus hundreds of pork pies and bacon butties, we collected, over the weekend, 1700 trees – raising over £18,000 for the Hospice and Rotary charities. This was over £1000 more than last year.
We could not have achieved any of this without the generous and enthusiastic help you so willingly offered – totally free. Your kindness will allow the Hospice to continue providing palliative care free to over 1000 local inhabitant every year, plus offering thousands of day patients and their families much needed support.
