Rebecca Summerill, 20 years, who has lived in Newton Aycliffe all her life recently brought home the British Slow Champion 2012 Award from competitions held in Blackpool representing Stepping Out with Clare Walton.
Rebecca has danced since the tender age of 5 years old and started competing in Competitions just a few years later. She is passionate about dance and fitness in general and has chosen a career in the fitness industry.
She has recently joined the team at Aspire Fitness and Health and provides Personal Training as well as teaching fitness classes.
“I was absolutely delighted to win this highly sought after award and bring the title back to Newton Aycliffe. Hard work and commitment pays off and I couldn’t have done it without Clare and the Stepping Out Crew. I love my new role at Aspire and to be able to share my passion for fitness and results with members and Personal Training clients is extremely rewarding” says Rebecca.
