The George and Dragon In Heighington Village holds a Real Ale and Music Festival on Bank Holiday Weekend 25th to 27th May There will be up to 20 Real Ales from Micro Breweries from all over the UK.
Live Music on Saturday 25th from ‘The Whole Hog’ at 1.30pm and Aycliffe based band ‘Uncle Gilbert’ from 4pm. Live Music on Monday 27th from ‘Tin Pan Alley’ at 1.30pm and ‘The Bryan Adams Experience’ at 4pm. the latter being probably the biggest tribute act in Europe.
There will be the George and Dragon traditional hog roast on offer along with burgers etc of the barbecue. Don’t worry about the weather as there will be a huge marquee just in case we get the traditional English summer.
The event is completelely free of charge but we will ask for donations to our charity, St Theresas Hospice. Check it out on facebook and website for further details
