Are you looking to develop your skills, meet new people and make a difference in your local community? The Pioneering Care Centre (PCC) wants to hear from you!
The PCC in Newton Aycliffe is appealing for volunteers to support its Garden Kitchen Coffee Shop. Used by local people, groups and organisations, new volunteers will help a café at the heart of the community.
Gail Anderson, Centre Lead at the PCC, said: “It’s an exciting time to join our Garden Kitchen as a volunteer, with a new menu featuring tempting dishes offering an opportunity to learn from our team.
“The Garden Kitchen offers a safe space to relax and unwind, with many customers visiting to enjoy a coffee, chat and attend a group or service at the PCC.”
The Pioneering Care Centre is a health and wellbeing hub delivering services that support communities to thrive, including fitness classes, a walking group, therapy sessions and more.
