The “Helping Hands” team have set a massive challenge ahead and they need the help of Newton News readers to complete it.
They would like 1000’s of your unwanted DVD’s, CD’s and Blu-Rays to sell.  For every £1 they get for these items, they are able to get £10 worth of household items to give to needy people in our local community.
Alwyn White says ‘There has to be hundreds of people in our local area who have got these items sitting on their shelves that will never be used again.  Can you help by donating these items? By maximising the money raised by ten surely this has to be a win/win situation for needy people!
The drop off point is at the Helping Hands office at St Clare’s, St Cuthbert’s Way, or we can collect. Either way, please phone 07936 431262 for us to arrange collection.
