Newton Aycliffe Youth Centre is pressing ahead with its plans to expand the use of the centre and offer the people of Aycliffe and the local area a broad range of training programmes. A trio of new courses encouraging people to “Reach Your Potential” is currently being launched. The courses are being lead by Durham County Council in partnership with a number of training organisations. Durham County Council is partnering with Acumen, SAFC Foundation, New College Durham and Bishop Auckland College to deliver a wide range of training opportunities under the heading of Reach Your Potential with Learning Opportunities.
They are also partnering with City and Guilds to deliver a range of courses under the banner of Reach Your Potential with Employment Skills.
Durham County Council are also working in partnership with Matrix, Skills Funding Agency, City and Guilds, Institute of Leadership and Management and Cache to deliver a brand new Reach Your Potential with their Apprenticeship Prospectus.
Vince Crosby Chairman of the Management Committee said, “the centre is thrilled to offer such a wide range of courses such as functional skills, City and Guilds, Business Administration and Certificate in Retails Skills are among the many courses available.
Dependant upon your status some of the courses may be free of charge.
