The Authority responsible for the shoddy and sub-standard re-surfacing work on Burn Lane, needs to carry out an urgent review and inspection!
After just a few weeks the surface is uneven, breaking up into ruts and disappearing where it joins other junctions and this before the frost and winter weather hits.
Why they persist in using this cheap, weak mix of gravel and tarmac instead of a more permanent surface is beyond me as it is not cost effective or an efficient use of taxpayers money!
