The Children in Class 1 at Walworth School were very happy to receive letter of thanks from The Queen and Prince Philip.
The children wrote a class letter and made a 70th anniversary Congratulations card in celebration of their Platinum Wedding Anniversary. This exciting reply from the Queen and Prince Philip really made children want to write letters to others . . .
They are now preparing to write to Santa!
Head Teacher Mr Peter Wallbanks said, “This was an exciting moment for the children to receive their reply. They were pleased the letter also gave them information regarding the Queen’s love for dogs for horses which are typical children’s interests”.
