One of the leading young string quartets, The Alauda Quartet – 2 violins, viola and cello – formed at The Royal Academy of Music in 2011. They were selected as Concert Artists with Making Music for 2016-17. The Quartet enjoys a busy performing schedule and has performed extensively across the UK as well as across Europe and Asia. They visit on Friday, 16th June to perform work by Haydn, Mendelssohn and Shostakovitch at 7.30pm in St. Andrew’s Church, South Church.
