Former Newton Aycliffe Youth FC footballer, Chloe Ryan, was delighted to make her first team debut last week for Middlesbrough Ladies FC.
The recently turned 16 year old, who attends Hummersknott Academy in Darlington, travelled with the squad down to play Doncaster Belles FC in a friendly at the Keepmoat Stadium.
She was so excited to be given a start and managed to play 60 minutes against a team that are well placed in Women’s Super League Two, and host players who have previously starred in Women’s FA Cup finals.
A great experience for Chloe to play at such a high level at such a young age. We wish her well and hope to see her progress further in Women’s football.
