Olivia Dunn (17) from Aycliffe was one of a number of budding cake decorators who entered a competition to design and decorate a cake to celebrate 175 years anniversary of Darlington Town Mission.
Olivia beat all other entrants to win 1st prize and was asked to attend an official dinner for the Mayor of Darlington and members of the Darlington town mission where she was presented with a certificate and asked to cut her cake.
Olivia is currently studying NVQ level 2 Patisserie at Darlington Technical College. She has been awarded a 2 year apprenticeship with Robineau Patisserie in Cockerton, Darlington and she hopes one day to own her own cake shop.
