Premier League Referee, Jon Moss, will be guest speaker at the Bishop Auckland Referees’ Association next month. Jon, 45, will visit the Association’s meeting on Thursday 17 November 2016 at The Manor Public House, Cornwall Road, Bishop Auckland, DL14 6UR starting at 7pm. Entry is free. One of the Premier League’s 17 ‘Select Group’ referees, Jon lives in West Yorkshire but was born in Sunderland. He qualified as a referee in 1988. He was promoted to the Select Group in 2011 after working his way through the Northern Counties East and Northern Premier Leagues. He was promoted to the Football League Referee list in 2005 and in 2015 refereed the FA Cup Final between Arsenal and Aston Villa.
