Darlington begin their pre-season friendly schedule with a game against Motherwell at Blackwell Meadows on Saturday, kick off 2pm.
The match against the Scottish Premier League team will allow Darlington fans their first look at the club’s signings under new boss Alun Armstrong, who took over from Tommy Wright.
Armstrong has brought six players from Blyth with him, David Atkinson, Michael Liddle, Louis Laing, Jarrett Rivers, Jamie Holmes and Jordan Watson and also signed a new keeper, Chris Elliott, who was at Spennymoor.
He is also signing striker Adam Campbell, who was with Morecambe.
Following Wright’s departure, several players left the club, and others rejoined their parent clubs after their loans finished.
Quakers are also playing Darlington Town on Tuesday at Eastbourne Sports Complex, kick off 7pm.
Meanwhile, Quakers’ Football in the Community staff are running two courses during the upcoming summer holidays in the Dolphin Centre. There is the usual popular football camp, which will be on every weekday during the holidays at a price of £10 per day or £40 for the week, and a Multi Sports Camp which features swimming, tennis, cricket and loads of other sports, again at a price of £10 per day.
