Dear Sir,
Potholes appear to again be an ongoing problem that the local authorities seem incapable of resolving.
I recently reported severely deteriorating road conditions in Newton Aycliffe to the County Council only to receive a response that the potholes were not posing a ‘danger’ nor an ‘emergency’.
This was not only unhelpful but bemusing, because I never used ‘danger’ or ‘emergency’ when reporting the issue.
The reported issues remain unresolved and the deterioration of our roads continues.
Contributing over £2500 annually in Council and car tax, is this ‘value for money’?
Shame on you Durham Council, you are, once again, letting our lovely town down.
