Popular local GP Dr Ruth Hewitt married David (Dave) Lund at The Old Barn, South Causey Inn on Saturday 11th August 2018.
Bridesmaids were Ruth’s Daughter Katie, Dave’s Daughter Abbie and their nieces. Dave’s Best Man was his Son Joe.
Ruth and Dave met at Liverpool University as part of a group of friends and after going their separate ways they met up again four years ago. Dave, a teacher, moved to the North East from Blackpool to be closer to Ruth, and proposed last year.
The couple were joined on their special day by friends and colleagues from Bewick Crescent Surgery. Dr Mark Bamford, Senior GP said “We all wish Ruth the very best wishes as she starts her married life with Dave, she deserves every happiness”.
Ruth and Dave will be honeymooning in Bali at the end of August. When she returns from honeymoon Ruth will be known as Dr Lund.
