Back to school at last! Thank goodness for Free School Meals. Some families find it difficult to afford additional food during the long summer holiday. Working parents may have increased costs linked to child care arrangements. In summer holidays there are so many ‘extras’ to find the money for including new uniforms, coats and shoes as the children grow.
An information event about the local PLAY CAFÉ project will be held on Monday 23rd September, 1.00 – 2.00pm in The Big Club, Newton Aycliffe.
Thanks to The Big Club for use of a room. Families wanting to know more about the project are particularly welcome.
It is FREE.
Schools and other organisations are invited to send a representative along too.
