Bishop Auckland’s Auckland Castle is reputed to be the farthest point north that pomegranates were grown in England.
Bishop Auckland Music Society is delighted to announce the return of Pomegranates to Bishop Auckland when, on Friday, 7th June at 7.30pm in The Methodist Church, The Pomegranate Trio perform the third concert in the Music Society’s 2019 series!
Since forming in 2014, The Pomegranate Trio – Fenella Barton, violin; cellist Rebecca Hepplewhite and pianist Andrew West – has quickly established a reputation for fine performances, playing imaginative and engaging programmes throughout the UK.
Their programme on this occasion will include work by Clara Schumann, Ravel and Beethoven. Tickets, priced at £13.50 (£15 on the door), are available from Brotherton’s Music (opposite Morrisons) or by contacting Brian Varley (01388) 606075
