Neil Langthorne is the guest speaker for the March 5th meeting, and will talk about Neighbourhood Watch which is recruiting new members to boost this vital role in our community. Neil will also answer questions on crime prevention for your homes, gardens and businesses.
As usual the Police, Livin, Councillors and Council Wardens will be in attendance to give reports and updates and answer any concerns or questions you may have.
This is always a good chance to meet the people who are working hard to make your neighbourhoods and Newton Aycliffe as a whole, a better and nicer place to live.
We will be discussing events for the coming year as we have nearly completed all work for the M.U.G.A project. We can concentrate our efforts in organising events such as an Easter Fun Day with egg painting competition and games for everyone, but more information nearer the day. We would also like to have a day at the seaside in the summer holidays and a Pantomime trip at Christmas.
We can only succeed at organising community events if we are sure people want to attend. All our trips will be at an affordable cost and some may be free if we can get funding or work with other groups.
Please come along and join us in creating a fantastic community to live. The meeting starts at 6pm with refreshments at 5.45 at the Evangelical Church, Ladybower.
