“PC 2688 Kathryn Pudney of Newton Aycliffe requests the help and support of all Middridge residents, in particular those who live on Northside.
It appears that vehicles are driving and parking on the grassed areas of Middridge Village green. The result of this inconsiderate ‘off-road usage’ is that the grassed areas are being churned up, leaving an unsightly mud track!
PC Pudney urges residents, and also any visitors to the village to respect, and take pride in Middridge. Please be considerate to other road users by not parking in a way which causes an obstruction, or makes it difficult for drivers to pass.
It is particularly important that enough room is left on the road for the general waste and recycling vehicles to pass freely down Northside on Thursdays.
PC Kathryn Pudney would like to hear views of residents and visitors regarding this matter. Email; Kathryn.pudney@durham.pnn.police.uk or by calling 101 and asking to speak to PC 2688.”
