POLICE are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a teenager who has been missing for over four days.
Jordan Jeffrey Profit was last seen on January 6 leaving his home in Framwellgate Moor, Durham.
The 16-year-old may be sleeping rough in Durham City, but is also known to frequent the Newcastle area.
He is described as being 4ft 9in, of slim build with mousey hair. He was last wearing a black sweater, black joggers, black baseball cap, black puffer body warmer and black Nike trainers.
Sergeant Chris Spencer, from Durham Constabulary, said: “We have serious concerns for Jordan’s welfare as he may be sleeping rough. We also believe he is suffering from a chest infection.
“We would urge anyone who thinks they may have seen him, or has any information regarding his whereabouts to get in touch with us as soon as possible.”

POLICE have released CCTV images of two men they would like to speak to in connection with an unprovoked assault.
The incident happened in the early hours of Saturday, December 23 in Joe’s Bar, on Grange Road, Darlington.
As the victim made his way to the toilet, he was punched to the floor and kicked repeatedly by several unidentified people, leaving him with serious injuries which required hospital treatment.
Detective Constable Neil Stannard, from Darlington CID, said: “This was an unprovoked assault which left the victim needing medical treatment.
“Anyone who recognises the two men in the images should get in touch with us as soon as possible.”
