Between 9 pm on Wednesday 18th February and 7.30 am on Thursday 19th February a burglary has occurred at an address in Bede Crescent, Newton Aycliffe. The property in question is a communal block of flats and a gents ‘’WHISTLE / HURON” brand mountain bike was stolen from the basement storage area below the flats. The bike is described as green and white in colour, is valued at £400 and has black plastic mud guards attached. At the time of the theft a childs ‘’KOOLAH’’ brand seat was also attached to the bike.
