Planet Leisure on the Business Park are supporting a local family organising a Hallowe’en Disco from 5 – 8pm in aid of Caudwell Children who raise cash to help sick and disabled children.
Hollie Williams is a local cystic fibrosis sufferer and the charity made her dreams come true with a trip to Florida.
Hollie had her first operation at only 5 days old and has received numerous treatments since, but she is a very determined girl who loves life and is very strong willed.
She attends the Athena Gymnastics club where she is becoming quite skilled, thanks to coaches Beth and Callum.
Her mother Angela is so grateful to Caudwell she has become a Volunteer Ambassador for the charity to raise awareness and funds.
Last year Hollie raised £321 bag packing, but this year wanted to do something “awesome” and came up with the idea of holding a Hallowe’en event with a cake stall, raffle and fancy dress competition for all ages.
