Lisa Cook has pointed out that she and her family are on this postcard Newton Press printed 35 years ago. She saw this photo of our thriving town centre market on our website of old Aycliffe photos which anyone with the internet can access: www.newtonnews.co.uk – Lisa lost her copy and was so happy to see her Mother and Nana in the photo. Readers can recognise them in the foreground as the lady in cream coat with a young girl and Nana is stood with Lisa’s brother by the lamp post. Lisa’s Mam and Nana have both passed away and Lisa who was 10, is now 44.
