The Photographic Competition run jointly by Newton Press and Whitehouse Funeral Service attracted 56 entries in the first quarter and the winning photo (above) was chosen by a judging panel. The winner Gary Foster received a printed copy of his photo reproduced on a large canvas by Newton Press. Gary took his photo at dusk on 20th January at Thwaite in Swaledale using a Canon 800D camera.
