Little ACORNS held their first Petting Zoo in the Leisure Centre and by all the little smiley faces it was enjoyed by everyone. We would like to thank the Leisure Centre for the use of the sports hall and to ACORN for finding the funding to run the event. We would also like to thank Animal Story and Fancy That of Spennymoor for the animals and the costume hire.
A massive thank you to local shops that helped us in donating raffle prizes: W. Slater & Sons Butchers, Creations hairdressers, Stephen Russel hairdressers, Aycliffe Framers and Engravers, Occasions, Eastern Spice Takeaway, Grannies Choice and Poundstretcher. Without these lovely people we could not have held our raffle.
