Dear Sir,
I would agree that there isn’t always enough parking spaces in Pease Way Medical Centre car park at busy times and some patients, or pharmacy customers, have to park on the road. However, parking on the bus stop is not acceptable, nor is it legal. After all, it is what it says on the sign and road markings, a bus stop, a stop for buses and nothing else.
However, there are times when there are more than enough empty spaces in the car park and drivers still think it’s appropriate to park on the road or bus stop, when they could be in the car park.
For example, one Saturday morning the car park was completely empty, yet there was one car parked on the bus stop and one close to the junction with Stephenson Way, causing problems for traffic entering and leaving the junction.
Please think about where you are parked and how it affects others.
