As part of their Easter celebrations, the House of Eden Nursery at the Pioneering Care Centre held an Easter Bonnet competition.
The children got their creative heads on and produced some very egg-stravagant bonnets and hats; some even had real feathers and chick egg shells!
The bonnets were judged on Friday 28 March by Carol Briggs, Chairperson of the PCP and Lynsey Todd, Programme Manager at PCP. Carol said “The effort and imagination that has gone into this hat making and decorating competition is remarkable! All the children, and staff, have truly ‘egg-ceeded’ themselves. The effort and attention to detail is ‘egg-straordinary’ ”
The winners were:
Ages 0-2: 1st Will Hickman, 2nd Rosie Whitfield
Ages 2-3: 1st Shane and Joe Garrett, 2nd Will Simpson, 3rd Adam Hustwick
Ages 3-5: 1st Gracie Wilson, 2nd Lucas Grayson, 3rd Wesley Hunter
Staff: 1st Lindsay Palmer, 2nd Sarah Lewins
