The Macmillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is now a popular annual event at the Pioneering Care Centre and this year PCP is hosting its ‘coffee and crafts’ event on Friday 29th September, 10.00am – 1.00pm. PCP’s purpose is ‘to improve health, wellbeing and quality of life for people disadvantaged by disability, age, ill health and/or caring responsibilities, and reduce inequalities in health’. Which is why they support this great cause. In addition to the refreshments sold in the Mall Coffee Shop within the Centre there will be stalls selling locally homemade crafts and baked goods. All donations will help towards making sure no one has to face cancer alone, from the moment they’re diagnosed, through treatment and beyond. Cancer is the toughest fight most of us will ever face. And as treatments improve, more and more people are living with cancer in their daily lives. So please try to pop along, bring a friend or loved one and buy a piece of cake and a coffee, browse the interesting stalls selling unique produce and find out what’s available to improve your health and wellbeing, reducing your risk of ill health.
