Held on the first Monday of every month at the Pioneering Care Centre (PCC), 1.30pm – 3pm, the Book Club invites people to share stories, chat and make new friends, this is a free club with refreshments provided. One Book Club attendee said: “We always enjoy coming to the Book Club, we get to talk about books and make new friends and the staff are lovely.”
Also, coming to the PCC in June, is a new Slow Stitch Meditation course. A free four week course that invites you to go on a creative adventure. Practising mindfulness whilst creating art, taking you to deep relaxation. You can contact the course leader, Jenny directly for more information on 07919 064741. Course starts 25th June, every Tuesday, 1pm – 3pm.
Looking slightly ahead to July, is our Luncheon Club hosted at the PCC every Thursday, 12.30pm – 2.30pm. This free two course lunch and an hour of activities from various providers, allows the community to grab a free lunch. Booking is needed and you can do so by contacting our reception on 01325 321234.
