PCP held a festive day on the 18th of December to celebrate the contributions of groups in the Pioneering Care Centre.
More than 50 carers, volunteers, staff and Board members attended the Carol Service, led by the House of Eden nursery and the Options group. The audience were treated to a selection of classic Christmas carols, with the Options group signing “Jingle Bells” and finishing off with a rendition of “We wish you a Merry Christmas”. Santa also came along for the day to attend old and young alike.
Following the Carol Service, PCP volunteers took part in the volunteer Christmas party. Lots of fun was had by the twenty dedicated volunteers, who enjoyed a Christmas word search, bingo and a festive buffet.
PCP would like to thank all its volunteers, Options members and tenants for their contributions to our community in Newton Aycliffe. We hope you have enjoyed a very happy Christmas and look forward to welcoming old and new friends in 2016!
