A super night had by all at the Parish Youth Spanish Supper evening. Tapas, sangria, chicken, Seville sponge – lots of laughter and love.
All 52 guests were amazed at the detail in the planning of the evening from costumes, food, wine, music and the decorations in the Fellowship Hall added to the occasion. We heard from our young people about their wonderful Holy Island Pilgrimage and from Dorothy and Rev Elizabeth about the walk Camino de Santiago across the Pyrenees. Both sacred places evoked a spiritual connection with all who took part.
Once again a fabulous team effort – Katie on chopping , Jim and Helen a washing up force to be reckoned with, Kev on tea making, Lou on posters, Jane on rice duty , Marion on cake cutting, Ric on decorations and Wow what a costume!
But all credit once again to our youth who worked hard into the night to make it such an enjoyable evening for everyone.
A true Parish Evening shared with friends.
