St Francis’ School is delighted to share our recent exceptional Ofsted report. The inspector was most complimentary about the main key elements and systems within school, but particularly our leadership and management and behaviour and safety of pupils.
The inspector commented that all children enjoy their learning and “settle quickly because of the strong care and support they are given to address their individual needs.” Pupils engage extremely well with learning and she found that all pupils were extremely polite and well mannered with behaviour she rated as outstanding.
During the inspection she identified the strong leadership of the Head Teacher and her Senior Leaders as central to school development. Mrs Wilkinson was reported to explain “We have a really strong team ethos at St Francis, from the children to the teaching team, governors, parents and carers. Without everyone’s hard work, we would not have been able to secure such an outstanding result. It was particularly pleasing that once again we were judges to be outstanding in the Behaviour and Safety of pupils area of the inspection and this has been judged to be such since 2008.”
