Last weekend the “Out of the Bag” project, which has been funded by GAMP AAP, continued at three community centres in Newton Aycliffe.
On Saturday morning we started the weekend at Woodham Community Centre, with artist Adam Bligh inspiring families with his sculptures and recycled materials.
The fun continued at Greenfield Arts and Agnew Community Centre over the rest of the weekend, with families making a huge variety of sculptures and other creations, it was great to see the ideas everyone came up with!
This project is designed for families to work together, developing their skills and confidence to be creative at home, with each family receiving a free bag of materials to take away.
The next Out of the Bag sessions will take place on Saturday 4th May and Sunday 5th May at Greenfield Arts, Woodham Community Centre and Agnew Community Centre. For more information contact Greenfield Arts on 01325 379048.
