PCP was the venue last Friday for the Options Carol Service. The children from the Garden of Eden Nursery School, all fully attired in beautiful Christmas outfits, started the occasion with their renditions of Christmas songs.
Ron and I were invited to attend as volunteers at the PCP Centre as we were working with Karen Grundy who was leading the Western Area Regeneration Project along with Emily Hunter.
After the Carol Service all the volunteers of projects led by the PCP had our minds challenged with a Christmas quiz and word search.
Carol Gasgarth CEO of PCP ensured volunteers were individually recognised with a thank you certificate presented by the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees Melanie Fordham with other Trustees present at the event.
Finally we had wonderful home made soup and a bun plus mince pies and chocolate Christmas treats from the PCP Cafe.
Whilst it is a blessing to be recognised as champion on the Western Area Project our thanks go out to the people at PCP who invest so much time, not always paid for, to see so many projects thrive. We also remember all those people who have needs that the projects aim to meet.
