Dear Sir,
We have been inundated with donations of school uniforms and would like to say thank you to everyone for their generosity. We have helped a number of families and would like to help more, so on the 23rd August from 12pm till 4pm we will be holding an Open Garden at 69 Guthrum Place, Newton Aycliffe DL5 4QD.
Anyone can come a pick anything they are short of for their child returning to school. This includes uniforms, coats, PE kits, we also have bags and shoes.
There will be no charge, we just ask that people only take what they need so we can help others.
If you are unable to attend this date please let me know and I will arrange another day before school reopens.
Also we have had a number of people calling and leaving a message, but no name or number for us to return the call. So if you do ring please remember to leave your name and contact number so we can call back.
For further information on the Open Garden please contact me at:
or 01325 313949.
Thank you all again.
The photo is from the first 4 days after the appeal appearing in the Newton News. Thank you to Syd and the team at Newton Press, without your help we couldn’t help as many families as we do.
