On Sunday 10th June, Jean and Charles Crompton have kindly agreed to open their stunning garden at Woodside House, Witton Park DL14 0DU from 1.00 – 5.00pm, in support of the Bishop Auckland Fundraising Group of Marie Curie.
This 2-acre, mature, garden is full of interesting trees, shrubs and plants. Superbly landscaped by the owners with island beds, flowing herbaceous borders, an old walled garden, rhododendron beds, fernery, three ponds, grass bed and vegetable garden, this delightful garden has much to fire the imagination.
Winner of Bishop Auckland in Bloom, the garden has featured in the Sunday Telegraph as well as Garden News.
As well as delicious tea and cakes on offer, there will be various stalls to peruse, including garden furniture and sundries from local charity supporting the homeless, Cornerstone, based in Willington.
