From Friday 24th till Sunday 26th, The Turbinia will be running its first Beer Festival with 15 Craft Ales and 2 Craft Ciders sourced from all over the country.
Three ales are making their debut at the Turbinia and there are milds, stouts, pale ales, ruby’s, porters, blondes – something for everyone.
FREE  live entertainment every night  –  Friday is Open-Mic, featuring some fantastic local talent
Saturday is the awesome rock band MUGSHOT, one of the pub’s favourite bands, playing songs by U2, Whitesnake, Killers, Kings of Leon, Tom Petty, Nirvana, Guns n Roses, The Cult, Radiohead.
On Sunday, we have managed to pull off a great coup with the fantastic THATCHERS BUSH playing. This band has twice starred at the huge ‘WILLOWMAN FESTIVAL’ earning great reviews, and voted one of the best. They are looking forward to bringing their own brand of Ska / Reggae / Punk to Aycliffe   “VIVA DA BUSH! “BEER AND BANDS” its gonna be a great weekend!
