It is with great sadness the trustees of the National Animal Sanctuaries Support League (NASSL) announce the death of Mr Raymond Mackinlay, our chairman and founder trustee, who passed away peacefully 9th October 2019.  NASSL, a registered charity since 1993, has its roots firmly in Newton Aycliffe where the charity was founded.  Through forward thinking and initiative Ray steered NASSL to the strong,  well respected and effective animal charity it is today.  The trustees and volunteers of NASSL have lost a unique and inspirational person whose legacy will carry on.  Pauline Wilson Co founder of NASSL and fellow trustee.
