In 1996 Acorn Players was formed by a small group of ladies, one of those ladies was Brenda Laight who became our treasurer, as the years went by Brenda became officer for booking venues and ticket selling.
As if that was not enough she also made costumes, was front of house manager, organising helpers and doing anything to make things run smoothly.
We could not have coped without Brenda’s calming influence when things got a bit tough. We will all miss this lovely lady and have fond memories of our times together.
