On Thursday 15th May, the Oak Leaf Golf Club sent a team to the prestigious South Shields Senior Texas Scramble Open. In a 30 team strong field, featuring some very good clubs from throughout the North East, the Oak Leaf four man team pulled off a victory akin to Rotherham winning the F.A. Cup, posting a flawless net 58, including 6 birdies and no bogies.
