Following our Ofsted inspection 2nd September 2016 Playday Nursery are pleased to announce that they have been judged ‘Outstanding ‘ in all areas. Playday Nursery at Simpasture Gate, Newton Aycliffe  (Established since 1995) is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac and is open 5 days a week Monday to Friday 8am-6pm.  We cater for children aged 0-5 years, and we offer full and part time places and accept 15 hours 2 year funding plus 3 and 4 year 15 hours free early years’ education. The Ofsted inspector said “The quality of teaching is outstanding. The highly qualified staff provide exciting and very creative activities for children to explore. Children’s interests are exceptionally well catered for. There is an outstanding range of resources available for children to access.“   “Children demonstrate very high levels of confidence and self-esteem.  They invite others into their play and show perseverance when tackling challenges. They have excellent opportunities to extend their physical skills in a highly stimulating outdoor garden. “ The outstanding judgement is hard to achieve and is only awarded where there is clear evidence of exceptional provision that exceeds expectations.
