The Northern Bygones Society will be holding their first SHOW/RALLY at the Scout Centre Bluebell Way, Newton Aycliffe DL5 7PW on Tuesday evening 2 August from 5pm. This is the first time the club has held a rally of this sort and are hoping classic vehicle owners will come along and join in. The Scout Centre bar will be open and 1st Newton Aycliffe Scouts group leader Cath English has ‘volunteered’ to provide the food. Members of the public are welcome to come along to see the cars and pop into the social club. Later in the month, August 28th the Northern Bygones will hold their ANNUAL CAR SHOW at the Scout centre. The veteran/vintage caravan club will be pitching up and the classic cars will be on show from 10am on Sunday.
There will be a TABLE TOP SALE in the hall on Sunday 28/08/16 from 11am until 3pm. £5.00 a table please contact Karen 01325 321084 to book your space (space is limited so please book early).
The Scout centre is hosting ‘DANIEL COLE’- in the bar on evening of Saturday 27/08/2016 from approx. 8pm. Daniel has done a number of gigs around the area playing acoustic guitar. His music includes songs made famous by Roy Orbison, the Beatles, T Rex, Elvis, Oasis. The Who and many more.
To finish the weekend David Brown will be hosting a NORTHERN SOUL DISCO in the main hall from 7.00pm till 11.30pm. Tickets £3 on the door. All proceeds from the weekend will be used to run, maintain and improve the Centre so please come along and enjoy the vehicles on display and the entertainment.
