Aycliffe has long been associated with spectacular floral displays and to continue this tradition Great Aycliffe Town Council are again seeking nominations for the best floral displays.
Residents are being asked to nominate their neighbours or family gardens around the parish for an award. Applicants will be considered for best garden (must be front garden), best hanging basket display and best commercial property. In addition, the council will be awarding separate awards for the best allotment plots in Aycliffe.
The gardens can be nominated throughout the summer with the deadline being Friday 7th September. Nominations should be sent to Great Aycliffe Town Council, School Aycliffe Lane, Newton Aycliffe. County Durham DL5 6QF or emailed to info@great-aycliffe.gov.uk
