There will be no changes to bin collections as a result of the bank holiday on Monday, August 26. All household waste and recycling collections will take place as normal during that week.
Residents are reminded that they should put their bins out for collection on the usual day by 7am.
People can check when their bins are due for collection by entering their postcode into the ‘My Durham’ facility at www.durham.gov.uk
