At the Northumberland & Durham Masters Swimming Championships held at South Shields on Sunday 1st July, Elisabeth Yaneske and Matthew Bradley represented Sedgefield 75 Swimming Club at what only can be described as a golden day. Elisabeth swam in the 800 mtrs Freestyle and took Gold and Matthew competed in eight events. He won gold in the 50 Back stroke 50 Breast and the 50 FS and silver in the 50 Fly. He won gold in the 200 FS, 100 back, 100 FS and the 200 FS. Both swimmers have to fit training around full time jobs and in so doing provide leadership and inspiration to the younger swimmers in A Squad.
