Newtonian Receives Sheriff’s Community Award

Toni McMillan of Aycliffe has received the High Sheriff Shreivalty Award for Courageous and Community Spirited Action. This is made anually to young people who have made a difference in their community and is presented by Durham Agency Against Crime. Dorothy Bowman has successfully nominated three young people from Aycliffe over the past seven years.
